It’s Monday, and that means we’re going to take a look at the latest NJPW happenings in a feature we all know and love, What’s New, Japan? There wasn’t a whole lot this week that we didn’t already cover, but there are a couple of fascinating tidbits that should be of interest to all fans of Japanese wrestling — and we’ve got ’em covered!

First off, last week saw New Japan’s tour with Ring of Honor take place, with the companies holding four big shows in the U.S. and Canada. We covered all the shows live, and the result was a week of record-breaking traffic, so thank you dearly to all the fans who supported (and continue to support) us — and thanks to Ichiban Ian for his hard work on Twitter and Facebook. If you missed any of the show reports — or if you just want to take another look at them — here’s a handy guide:

Finally, New Japan has released concrete information for its upcoming mobile video game, “Let’s Play Pro Wrestling.” An official site has been launched, along with a Twitter handle and registration for iOS and Android users. Beta testing for the game has begun, and volunteers have been solicited. The full game is scheduled to be released in June, at which point King of Sports will have an in-depth review.

That’s all for this week! We’ll be back tomorrow with a full preview of the Best of the Super Juniors tournament!
